Day Two: Thankful for Today

The world is nuts. People are loosing their minds in the post-Hurricane Sandy haze. In the blink of an eye, people lost their homes and their lives. Complaining about small inconveniences like the loss of power and the maybe-gas-shortage is making us look like entitled brats. So today, I am thankful for today.

I am lucky that I woke up this morning. I am happy that I have this brand new day ahead of me, to do with it whatever I want. I am blessed with 24 more hours of my life. That is enough.
